People love to customise their experience, and it's not just about modifying and customising the deck, it's actually about customising the whole way they use the board. So when we're talking about Evolve rider hacks, we are generally talking about little tweaks and modifications and trying to make the whole user experience better. However, please do not be touching the electrics.
So there are usually two aspects why an Evolve rider would like to create a custom hack for their board.
Aesthetics: Evolve Skateboard Custom Hack
The first one is to do with aesthetics. Everyone loves to have a good looking board that looks a little bit different from the stock standard. The other reason is for function and creating a little tweak to the board, so it suits the way they like to ride better. We always see different Evolve rider hacks when we go for group rides. We're often seeing things like music on boards decks, different wraps to the decks, customisation artwork on the decks, changing of the colour of the motors, 3-D printed items. One of the things we often see is LED lights. There are so many different LED options, from strips under the decks to attachments to the trucks.
Lights For Evolve Electric Skateboards
We see so many different types of LED lights that are being used on the board from different industries such as houses or cars or marine. And these strips are so easy to put on the board. There's an adhesive strip they can attach and stick straight to the deck, and there are colour changing options with remote control. We've definitely seen some innovative storage solutions for the Evolve boards by our customers, and some of these designs are great. You know, they attached to the walls, or it could be like a little stand that the board can stand up and it's upright and they can put it in the corner. We've seen some pretty cool stuff. And then we have those people that take it to the absolute extreme.
We get quite a few items coming through our service area. Some of them are pretty cool and funky, but a pretty common thing we do see is 3-D printing. We've seen a full mudguard for the tyres even!
Ones that, get your attention are Bluetooth speakers. Connected to a phone, but instead of music, there would be a horn as a sound option. So if there were foot pedestrians, the rider could give them a little toot to let them know he's coming past.
So the Carbon deck is probably the easiest one to customize in terms of design and painting and even the vinyl wrapping. So when you start looking at vinyl wrapping and hydro dipping, it just gives you so many more options with designs and styles and what you can do. So we even have seen one board where the guy wrapped his Carbon with a bamboo wood wrap and so you know, you had a Carbon deck with nice wood grain finish to it.
One of our seasoned riders Aviram does some cool stuff on his boards. Unique spins on it, and you know, never short of a bright idea for something a little bit more unique, a little bit out there. It gets attention.
