Meet the next generation of longboards and get yourself prepared to face any challenge on our Evolve GT electric skateboards!
The GT designation is reserved for the highest performing, pinnacle model of a performance vehicle line.
After more than two years of development, Evolve now brings GT performance to the electric skateboard industry. Born from the legacy carved out by the original Evolve Carbon and Bambo Series, the Evolve GT series brings more power, more performance and more versatility than ever before – this is the evolution of electric skateboards. With 3000 watts of on-demand dual brushless sensored motor power, a new wider super-carve truck system for stability whilst enabling tight carves and an LCD screen digital remote.
The Carbon GT features a new sleeker, beautifully designed Carbon fiber deck with built-in electrics and the Bamboo GT features a comfortable and flexible bamboo deck sporting artwork true to the roots of the original Evolve Skateboards.
Both the Carbon and Bamboo GT are available in the sleek Street, or the adventurous All Terrain configurations.
At Evolve we like pushing the boundaries and seeing what we can do with our electric skateboards. With this in mind we went about creating a custom Carbon GT and put it to the test against a GT5 SODI Go Kart!
This little video covers the highlights of a great day on the track, including the 220m sprint race between the custom Carbon GT and the Go Kart. We chose this distance as it was a good balance between acceleration (board) and top speed (go kart) to make it a closer race!
This custom Race Series Carbon GT pushes the boundaries of what our electric skateboards can do with some mods. With 2 x 1500W motors with customised controller and battery settings, Evolve GT race wheels and specially adjusted trucks, this thing really does fly and it is extremely stable riding at 70km/hr!
This custom GT isn't available publicly buuuuutt we do have something in a custom flavour coming up that we think you will really enjoy, so stay tuned :-)
Importantly - DO NOT try any of this yourself. This was done by and under the supervision of professionals.
In the final video of this series, Fred and a bunch of riders from the Evolve community go for a Group Ride around Brisbane. Fred also reflects on his experience in learning to ride an electric skateboard and how far he has come (sort of...)
